GWANWYN (means Spring in Welsh) - a time for renewal, growth, and creativity.

Gwanwyn is a month-long national festival held across Wales in May each year celebrating creativity in older age. I was commissioned by Age Cymru to deliver creative summer workshops at the Riverfront Theatre with a focus on an innovative approach.

Participants engaged in painting, collage, and digital crafts using touch capacitance sensors. Some participants had life-long skills baking cakes and creating wonderful things from sugar. We took delight in applying this knowledge to moulding play-doh into touch sensors.
